Listen up all Bachata lovers, for the 1st time One of the World's most renown Bachata instructors and dancers - Jorge Elizondo- will be visiting Salt Lake City and teaching WORKSHOPS for 2 days (February 13th & February 14th). BEGINNERS WELCOME! His unique Bachata style combines SALSA, BACHATA, TANGO and CHA CHA!

Workshop Details
7pm - 8pm - 1st Workshop Bachata Footwork Fundamentals This class will focus on all the Bachata Footwork and Body Movement to start dancing Bachata. Over 10 concepts will be covered in this class including how to isolate your hip and upper body movement. This class is the foundation for Bachata Fusion Style. - This class is all Level 8pm - 9pm - 2nd. Bachata Club Style Partnerwork Turn Pattern: This class will progress into several turn patterns that are easy to learn. Jorge will be show you how to mix between turn patterns and how to develop your own style.
Instructor's Biography and Credentials: Jorge Elizondo was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas, where the sounds of Mexico, the Caribbean, and the United States meet. In this unique environment, Jorge trained in music theory and Latin dance and developed "Bachata Fusion," a style of dance that combines turn patterns and body movements from traditional Bachata, Tango, Cha Cha, and Salsa with many original moves. The end result is an expressive, active style of dance that removes all barriers and allows dancers to be more creative.
